Description:
------------
Bugs categories are out of proportions for years now. It has become so useless for some selecting non existent extensions (ffi and company) and PHP functionality that now it's time to fix this also.

There was also a discussion to fix this but as usual it stayed only on the discussion phase [1]. With a bit more knowledge about bugs.php.net site now, I think I can start working on the fix for that essential part of this site now... So here I'm also reporting official bug for this because nobody so far did it.

Honestly I think it would be better to simply just have the categories in PHP files instead of in the database and when a bug refer to a non existing one, simply put it in a generic category.

This seems like the easier fix for maintainability as not that many have database access to update them.

Thoughts?

Yes. Static/configuration-alike approach will be used here so it can be edited also via pull requests/commits directly. This can be done because the bugs in the database have a simple text field used for the categories (a.k.a. the packages). But I'll recheck this one a bit if that is the case.

Thanks everyone for their time and effort for the website information. I cannot finish this task due to constant "people" issues and difference of opinions from people who don't even code on this project anymore and they threat with reverts and similar things. Bugs.php.net will be a disaster of the site further on. Cheers. Closing this as won't fix.
