Hello, the manual suggests installing openldap from bind9.net which is not working anymore:
http://php.net/manual/en/ldap.requirements.php

The bind9.net site is down for quite some while now - according to some archives since several years now. Maybe we should remove it from the manual to avoid reading confusions.

Following both the links on the manual page referenced, I have no problem loading pages that provide downloads for openldap (I am in the UK, if this makes any difference). Please recheck your sources and/or clarify which links are broken.

Yes, the problematic site is the http://bind9.net 
The manual has mentioned this link: http://www.bind9.net/download-openldap/

And it's not showing up on many locations. Checked with several proxies, according to this, it's down also:
http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.bind9.net

And here many locations have issues with accessing it:

Strange. I'm not sure if this is temporary issue or a permanent one, because some people do see it ok. The first link of the OpenLDAP is working ok though.

How is it down for you? DNS lookup failure? Connection or response timeout? White page?
I too can access it fine (US West Coast) but it looks like they have some user-agent detection going on that may respond with 403s.

At my current location, it times out.

I'll leave it be, but the issue is present on the upstream site and basically nothing we can do here.
