getmxrr() works fine on PHP 5.3.28, but on  PHP 7.0.7 it is back to not working again.

Test script:

<?php
echo(getmxrr('google.com',$tmp));
var_dump($tmp);
?>

Expected result:
----------------
1
array(n) { /* records */ }

Actual result:
--------------
1
NULL
