When I load Interbase extension and PHP is configured to run like a Apache module, Apache craches when loading. If I run PHP as CGI module, everything works ok. I isolated that Interbase extension causes a crash. If I disable it, Apache starts OK. The crash is consistent through PHP3, PHP4.02 and 4.02dev ...

I would be very happy if this would work cause of persistent database connections.

Oh, yes, This is under Win32 (NT4, NT4 Server, Win2000 AS).

Please try the latest versions from http://php4win.de
and report back whether they work or not.

Yes, the latest versions runs with Apache like extension,
but is very, very unstable and pulls down the server
in some hours.
