The homepage for the Pyrus PEAR installer (pear2.php.net) is not accessible over HTTPS. Loading https://pear2.php.net presents the the https://pear.php.net page.

This issue could be closed since https://pear2.php.net is accessible and returns a HTTP 200 OK

Closing the report, I can indeed confirm too that pear2 works through HTTPS
