Description:
------------
when using mysqli_real_connect() prepending "p:" for peristent connections, new ones are created every time instead of getting them from the pool, according to what is shown by phpinfo on "Active Persistent" entry.

If i switch the code to use mysqli_connect(), everything works like a charm.

Tested on many php versions (til 5.5.23).

Is this still an issue with any of the actively supported PHP
versions[1]? If so, which SAPI do you use? And which library do
you use – mysqlnd or libmysql-client?
