During install of PHP 4.0.0 under Apache 1.3.12 I get the error when using MAKE

cannot find -lmysqlclient

I'm a real novice, looking everywhere to resolve this problem. Thanks for your help.

First grab the sources for PHP 4.0.2 (or preferrably 4.0.3 when it's released, real soon now). 

And if doesn't work either, reopen this bug report with the configure line
you used to configure PHP4.
