Description:
------------
I propose to remove the language constructs that pretend functions, but they are not.
List of them:
* list()
* array()
Their names can be used more profitably in the user code.
Array() is already an archaism. list() can be transformed into something: ($a, $b, $c) = explode (':', $string);

The PHP Language Specification is intended to be a normative document that describes what the PHP language currently is and the requirements that a PHP engine must meet to be considered compliant with the PHP language version 5.6.

Opening a bug/request to modify the spec is not the right channel to request changes to the PHP language. Proposals to change the PHP language are typically handled through php.net's RFC process. If you go to https://wiki.php.net/rfc you'll see existing RFCs that have been proposed, and https://wiki.php.net/rfc/howto gives instructions on how to propose a language change via an RFC.

Closing, per Drew.

Also, this won't pass.

You can try proposing it in the right channels, but it'll fail.

Not a spec issue.
