Description:
------------
---
From manual page: http://www.php.net/regexp.reference.backslash

        $context = new \SoapVar($contextVO, SOAP_ENC_OBJECT);

I was looking for the meaning of this backslash, and couldn't find it.

I only realized this page was only about regexp, when I saw its URL. I thought the page was about all uses of backslashes. Sorry.

It still remains that I couldn't find the meaning of this backslash, until I asked more experienced colleagues.
