There is bug causing min/max quantifiers to not work in ungreedy mode in PCRE 8.34.

Bug is fixed in PCRE 8.35.

Test script:

echo preg_match('/a{1,3}b/U', 'ab');

Expected result:
----------------
1

Actual result:

0
