After ./configure --with-mysql --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12, I type make.  I get the following errors:

"Makefile", line 34: need an operator
(two more times for line 35 and 36)

The entries for the makefile are:

include $(top_srcdir)/build/rules.mk
include $(top_srcdir)/build/library.mk
include $(top_srcdir)/build/program.mk

Use gmake (GNU make) and not BSD make.

A workaround for BSD/OS's native make has been committed.
