PHP is begining to run so SLOW that page starts to show only after 5-10 seconds!

Can you please provide us with the script that is causeing this? Or at least test it in php 4.0.1 and see if there is a massive time difference between the two. We are not great at guessing what the bug is from a less than informative description.

Another thing might be to check that it is PHP that is being slow and not MySQL/Apache/The Internet.

Anyway we need more information before anything can be done. It would be best for you to try various scripts and see if they all suffer from this slow down. If not try and isolate the calls that do make the script slow so that it can be fixed.

Should be fixed in CVS (flex issue).
