Assigning to Dan, since he's been looking into this today.

Current state of play, as of the 04:44 snaps:

5.3: fine; builds 5.3.20-dev as expected.

5.4: has merge conflicts, presumably from switching from PHP-5.5 to PHP-5.4. Doesn't build.

trunk: is actually PHP-5.4, resulting in a 5.4.10-dev build.

As with #63643, this issue has been fixed by Derick. He resolved multiple git
checkout issues and such early this morning, and the new snaps have been
verified.
