It took me lots & lots of digging to find that get_result existed. Please add it to the See Also of bind_result and maybe the prepare & execute as well.

There seems to be a lot of effort out there to try and get around the lack or array support in bind_result. I'm certain if others were aware of get_result, it would prevent many people form wasting time.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
