strpbrk() is case sensitive. It would be great to see a case insensitive 
implementation - stripbrk()

Simply use this workaround:


function stripbrk ($haystack, $charlist)
{
 return strpbrk($haystack, strtolower($charlist).strtoupper($charlist));
}

This is unlikely to happen, unless somebody pursues the RFC
process[1] successfully.  For the time being, I suspend this
