I'm missing info in documentation 
http://php.net/manual/en/wrappers.php.php
where php://temp temporary file (not in-memory data) is stored and how to change it by configuration.

The location of the temporary file is determined in a way that is roughly 
equivalent to the sys_get_temp_dir() function. It is stored in the system's 
temporary file store.

I'll make a change to the linked page which will indicate that the location is 
equivalent to sys_get_temp_dir().

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
