Description:
------------
APC 3.1.9 fails to compile on CentOS with the following error:

/tmp/pear/temp/APC/apc.c:42:33: error: apc_php_pcre.h: No such file or directory

When I download and extract the package manually, the file does appear to be there.

Full output of make:

Install the PCRE support as well.
 [2011-09-12 08:23 UTC] ned at seagoon dot com
Dependency on pcre-devel is expressly contradicted by the
official php docs:
http://uk.php.net/manual/en/apc.requirements.php

I have the same problem in Centos 64 bit
 [2014-02-08 09:10 UTC] berkut at pravda dot ru
$ yum install pcre-devel

Then

pear install pecl/apc
