Description:
------------
By default display all Open and Feedback bugs. To make it more user-friendly to find bugs which require feedback but aren't closed yet. Just asked myself - where is my bug? I've left it here and it isn't closed yet. Wazzup? =)

P.S. It is rather strange requirement to fill PHP version while submitting bug about bugsystem

Unless others on the web team strongly disagree, I think we should leave it as is. Open means something needs to be direcltly addressed. Feedback is something on the back burner.

I agree with Dan here, but of course this can be confusing, but so it goes :)

If you submit a bug you should anyway get a email about it with a straight link to it ;)

One option would be to make a new search state to find open and feedback at the same. (Needs comments from the web team before implanting)

plus the PHP version, just choose irrelevent :) Maybe I'll make that as the default choice when reporting a issue with the Web Site/Bug System/PEPr ... Who knows :)

What smb. is trying to get when he clicks bugs link in a package? I think he would like to know what bugs package has and which work being done for them at the moment.

If he will be able to see feedback requirements then perhaps he can help in testing open feedback issues.

danielc, I have a weak english skills. Could you, plz. tell me what means "on the back burner"? Also I can't see why "open" means "directly accessed". "Open" means package probably has this bug. "Feedback" means the same, but more info is required.

if you are only view'ing bugs for X package, then you might notice at the right, right below the search bar you will notice this:

Status: Open | Feedback | All

Thus you can use this to get all feedback bugs for a package with that, kinda of an short cut.
If you really want to push this change through, you might want to email pear-webmaster@lists.php.net to get more members of the web team into this discussion and get their views on this :)

Thanks
Helgi

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.

In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better.

Commited it more or less in the form you gave.
