Description:
------------
When you assign a bug to a developer, the bug status should get set to "Assigned" if it was previously set to Open (and only if it was set to Open). I think we can safely assume that there is never a problem with this.

Heck, should "Assigned" even be a status in and of itself? Shouldn't this just be determined on whether its actually assigned or not? :)

Hmm will have a look at this soon, thought I had coded it so that if there is something in the assign to input then the bug was auto set to assigned
*tests now*

Also I agree with the assign state isn't neseccery so I'll remove it probably soon and all that if no one objects.

"Assigned" is needed so we can search/sort, etc on that status.

Well not necesseraly, we could hack this thing around if we want, but at the expense of some preformance I guess :)

More hacks? No thanks.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pear.php.net.

In case this was a pear.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PEAR better.
