  --disable-mysqlnd-compression-support
Enable support for the MySQL compressed protocol in mysqlnd

This bug has been fixed in SVN.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at

It is my understanding that despite it being marked as fixed in 5.3.9, this feature has never been implemented yet, not even in 5.4.
