If you decide you want to move a file and search the documentation for 'move',
'move_uploaded_file' is the closest-sounding result to what you want. It'd be nice for newbies if there was something like

* _rename_ renames other files or directories. 

on that manual page. 

(I don't know if it's possible to alias php.net/move to php.net/rename...)

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
