Description:
------------
There is nothing in the documentation which explains what the 'recursive' parameter to the mkdir function does. I presume it does something similar to 'mkdir -p', but it would be nice to know if it differs from that in any significant way.

Reproduce code:
---------------
---
From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.mkdir#Parameters
---

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.
