This is regression due to Bug #50508

Reverting this change:

fixes the problem on Mac OS X.

Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same.

Can you tell me bug # of the duplicate?

If you mean Bug #50508, then that bug is closed as "fixed" (it's not fixed) and does not allow any comments, which I why I had to submit another bug.

Apple should get their crap fixed so that it's not different from every other decent OS out there. Hopefully this is fixed now in SVN.
