Description:
------------
When I call the code below, it causes Apache (2.2.10) to crash. This seems to have just started happening after I removed PHPed and Komodo. Since then I've backed out all Apache and PHP setting and reinstalled. Still there. Apache error log reports:

[Fri Nov 07 11:34:55 2008] [notice] Parent: child process exited with status 3221225477 -- Restarting.
[Fri Nov 07 11:34:55 2008] [notice] Apache/2.2.10 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Fri Nov 07 11:34:55 2008] [notice] Server built: Oct 10 2008 12:39:04
[Fri Nov 07 11:34:55 2008] [notice] Parent: Created child process 6004
[Fri Nov 07 11:34:56 2008] [notice] Child 6004: Child process is running
[Fri Nov 07 11:34:56 2008] [notice] Child 6004: Acquired the start mutex.
[Fri Nov 07 11:34:56 2008] [notice] Child 6004: Starting 64 worker threads.
[Fri Nov 07 11:34:56 2008] [notice] Child 6004: Starting thread to listen on port 8080.

I'm out of idea's as what else to try. Looking around on the web hasn't revealed anything.

Windows XP
PHP 5.2.6
Apache 2.2.10

Mark

Ok, so found that if I have

;[PHP_THREADS]
;extension=php_threads.dll

in the php.ini file it crashes the CLI. Any reason for this?

Thanks

Okay so found that the Threads module crashes the CLI? Any reason for this? Commenting it out of the PHP.ini file and all is well

;[PHP_THREADS]
;extension=php_threads.dll

Thanks

Mark

That's some PECL extension. Please don't report bugs in PECL extensions here. The correct place is found somewhere in http://pecl.php.net/
