I first did a "configure --with-java=/usr/local/jdk1.2". This is where I have installed Java.

But when running "make install", it failed when trying to copy php_java.jar because this file was not created during the compilation at all.

My OS is Mandrake Linux 7
My JDK version is 1.2 for Linux (from the Blackdown group)
I do not have Kaffe on my system at all.

Fixed.  Thanks.

This problem only occurred if --with-servlet is also specified.
