Well, this is not really a bug but since I tried to go through the PHP
developers mailing list and was ignored, maybe this will grab your
attention.

I am developing a MIME email message class.  It comes with a function that
does Quoted Printable encoding.  The problem is that it becomes too slow in
PHP.

I am willing to write it in C if any of you PHP developers would be
interested to integrate it in PHP as built-in function.  Please let me know
ASAP so I can hand you the code.

There is quoted-printable code in the imap module.
