Description:
------------
The source code bellow crash Apache like that :

[Sat May 20 15:22:38 2006] [notice] Parent: child process exited with status 128 -- Restarting.
[Sat May 20 15:22:38 2006] [notice] Apache/2.0.55 configured -- resuming normal operations

but with the EREG equivalent, not at all, it works fine...

Reproduce code:
---------------
preg_match('`<SHOUTCASTSERVER>(.|[[:cntrl:]])+</SHOUTCASTSERVER>`', $page, $tab);

but this code works :

ereg('<SHOUTCASTSERVER>(.|[[:cntrl:]])+</SHOUTCASTSERVER>', $page, $tab);

Expected result:
----------------
a good result ;)

Actual result:
--------------
[Sat May 20 15:22:38 2006] [notice] Parent: child process exited with status 128 -- Restarting.
