The page outputed by PHP-4.0b4pl1 contain a Header like this:
"Content-type: text/html;charset=iso-8859-1"
If my script contains non-iso-8859-1 characters, like Chinses(charset=gb2312 or charset=big5), it would cause a display problem, the characters can be read(but the page source code is ok).

the related source code is located in file:
php-4.0b4pl1/sapi/apache/mod_php4.c, line 431 and 463.

Should be fixed. Use default_charset parameter if you need.
