Hello!

 I have PHP, compiled as Apache's 1.2.6 module. There is
script's fragment, which shows, when syslog losts ident
after call to PostgreSQL (may be under other conditions
too? - i haven't checked):

  .......
 OpenLog("VSH-clean", $LOG_PID, $LOG_CRON);
 SysLog($LOG_INFO, "step #1");
 $timenow = time();
 SysLog($LOG_INFO, "step #2");
 
 $q = "select ord_status, ord_num, ord_time, ui_last, pi_email, pi_ccname from ORD, UI, PI ".
      "where ord_status < 2 and ui_uid = ord_uid and pi_ordnum = ord_num";
 $dtbl = pg_Exec($conn, $q);
 SysLog($LOG_INFO, "step #3");
  ........

 The result is:

VSH-clean[4303]: step #1
VSH-clean[4303]: step #2
pi_ccname[4303]: step #3

 There is error after call to pg_Exec.
