Can you add second argument for assert() function, which be text with description.

Example:

fuction test($i) {
  assert($i > 0,"argument i must be positive");
}

This text will be part of error message when assert failed.

This bug has been fixed in SVN.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
