Description:
------------
Hello,

I have tried find in the bug-database any report of my trouble but the searching was not sccessfull.

If someone add any additional data after "/" character in URL of PHP script, (s)he get regular page instead of "Error 404".

See for example http://www.php.net/index.php/any_additional_data

In such a case where images are given by relative path, then images are not found. And this problem makes also trouble in our search engine, where it never ends (the URL is growing in length and still provide regular content of non-existing pages).

I don't know if it is a bug or feature, but can I somehow switch it off?

Thanks, Indy

It's a featuer, but you can turn it off in Apache by turning off AcceptPathInfo (but I'd rather fix your code instead).
