This bug has been fixed in CVS.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change

The error codes in libcurl are made up with an enum, you therefore cannot use #ifdef [code] like your attempted fix does. Those symbols will never be defined and thus will be missed in all version, regardless of what libcurl version that is installed.
