php cli and .so was built successfully. after when I issue "make test" command, it is getting hung at running the test for ext/standard/tests/math/bug21523.phpt test.

assuming it is problem with make, I ran the same test manually using php cli. still I ran to same problem of getting hung. Is there any work around for this.

when I remove the bug21523.phpt from test suite, "make test" went on fine.

There is some bug in your system. (Not enough information given to say exactly what is wrong but I bet it's buggy glibc..)

Here is complete info about system I used.
OS: Redhat Enterprise Linux 3.0 AS
glibc version: 2.3.2-95.3

sniper, do you need any further info to analyse the problem.
