Upon calling mhash(MHASH_MD5, rand()) in a php script, Apache-1.3.9+mm-1.0.12+mysql-3.22.27+mod_ssl-2.4.8-1.3.9+php-3.0.12+rsaref-2.0-1996+openssl-0.9.4 produces a segmentation violation on line 148 of php-3.0.12/functions/mhash.c. The offending line is a macro, but the call in the macro is estrdup.

        RETVAL_STRINGL(hash_data, bsize, 1);
