Create two files: test.php3 contains: <? $max = 511; for ($t = 1 ; $t <= $max ; $t++) print "A"; ?> caller.php3 contains: <? $infile = fopen("http://127.0.0.1/test.php3","r"); while (!feof($infile)) $response .= fgets($infile,255); fclose($infile); print $response; ?> Run it as is and you get a line of A's. If you increase $max, the call hangs.
