'Twould be nice to have perl-like behavior for echo (like perl's print()) statement.

In perl, if I wanted to produce a line of 80 dashes (for example, in an e-mail message), I could type:

print "-" x 80, "\n";

Currently there is no way to do this in PHP (as far as I can see). Any chance we can get this added? :-)
