I love PHP. If I go to the main page, php.net, I see a nice announcement that PHP 4.3.2 is out, but a short search failed to reveal to me, why I should want to update. After spending 5 minutes, I still have not clue what the primary differences are between 4.3.1 and 4.3.2

A one sentence statement about the most important new feature or features or perhaps a link to changes would seem to be useful for the site. If you don't offer a good reason for me to upgrade, why should I? - not just because it's a higher number. I'm sure it's there somewhere, right, but the point is that if I didn't see it, probably a lot of other people are wondering, too, and just going away.

As an example, Apache's server always lists the primary new features on a derivative web page (or states that everyone should upgrage because of a security alert). Or a what's new section.

Sincerely,
Csaba from New York

Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at
http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to report
a bug at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php

This is a release candidate. The changelod is normally only updated on release.

See http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-4.php

As the page says PHP 4.3.2RC2 is released. Then for those who don't know what RC means the text says: "This is the second release candidate", which means this is not a release, but just a code which is a candidate to be a release. This is not for live sites or usual users. This is for those who would like to test the very new things out, or just would like to check if their code will run with the new version as it is intended to be. If someone find that his code does not work anymore, and it is a fault of PHP, he can file a bug report even before the new version is released, so no bugs are kept in the final one (hopefully).
