There is a problem with session_decode and PHP5. 
The script at url

PHP4: http://www.ziobudda.net/test/session4-2.php (.phps for the source) 
PHP5: http://www.ziobudda.net:81/test/session4-2.php

works with PHP4.3.0, but does not work with PHP5. 
Does not work because session_decode does not populate the $_SESSION[] array.

register_global=on and off is identical.

Hi, you have give me php4-STABLE-latest.tar.gz link. But the error is for PHP5.  In php4 there is no error.

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

In case this was a PHP problem, snapshots of the sources are packaged
every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can
grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/.
 
In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up soon at
http://www.php.net/manual/.

In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show
up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites in short time.
