used system:
apache 1.3.6, freetype 1.2, gd1.5 or gd1.3

bug only occurs with php 3.0.11. php 3.0.9 doesnt have this bug, but i havent tested 3.0.10

gd 1.5 has only PNG support, IIRC. If you could provide a sample script,
I would be happy to verfiy this bug (I have gd 1.3).

Otherwise, I will close it.
