There seems to be a problem with fpassthru: When I use PHP as CGI, fpassthru will high-performantly output large files (> 100M). As an Apache module the same script will not work: I get only the first 8K including some transmission-errors. This is NOT a time out for the script: I get the ouput of a following echo.

Please try the latest version of PHP (4.2.1), this will most likely fix your problem. Please reopen if it is not fixed.
