Hi,
if I use mm as save handler. I have to click twice at the first time to increment the counter. With files it works fine.

cheers,
Marcus.

<?php
ini_set('session.save_handler',mm);
session_start();
if (!isset($_SESSION['count'])) {
  $_SESSION['count'] = 0;
}else{
  $_SESSION['count']++;
}
echo $_SESSION['count'];
echo "<br><a href='$PHP_SELF'>click me</a>";
?>

Cause is known. We need to come up with how we treat FAILURE from session save handler's read function to fix this issue.

FAILURE means failed to get valid data entry for the session
oi
FAILURE means fatal errror that can be network connection, database query, etc.
