Hi,
tested on the cvs-4.1 from 20 december 2001, not 4.1 release.


it should just return false, seems to be like the previous is_dir() bug in 4.1 release.

Still present in 4.1.2 and 4.2rc1!!!
please correct it.

It is annoyng to see the warning, 
is_link issue the warning if the file is not found.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the
CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation 
problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/.
In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show
up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites.
