Hi All,

I have been trying to get PHP/APACHE (latest versions) working under SCO Openserver 5.04 and Informix Online 5.0
for several days now and am about to give up. It has just occurred to me that the PHP informix driver does not support Informix Online v5.0. (I notice there is a little information on the php.net/manual/informix page but nothing in realtion to Online).

If someone could confirm this I would be most grateful to save myself further frustration.

Many Thanks in Advance

Isaac Hopley

This snapshot _should_ fix the problem:

http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz

It works fine for me with the 2.70.UC3 which is the latest I found from the informix site. (for linux though)
I have no SCO machine to test it on, so please test.

Sniper,

Thanks for reply. I gave up trying to complie on SCO itself, used Linux instead to hook into Informix on the SCO box remotely.
I still had problems compliling on Linux with any version of PHP using the latest SDK from Informix, as did a few others I managed to get in touch with.
Was not untill I rolled back to the SDK 2.60 UC1 that compile worked for me.
Suspect the problem lies in the SDK and not PHP.
Hope this info helps a.n. other.

Let's close this then..there are other reports open about the same issue (with SCO) so no need to have 10 of these.
