sql_regcase seems to try to regcase non alpha characters:

$a="a|b";
$b=sql_regcase($a);
echo "'$b'";

/* produces '[Aa][||][Bb]' */
/* msql_RegCase($a) used to return '[Aa]||[Bb]' */

Thanks much!

I've changed the behaviour so that only alphabetic characters (in your locale) are converted into a bracket expression.
