When composing a mail message to be send from a PHP page, I discovered that the max lenght of an email is about 2500 characters, the rest of the mail is being skipped.
This is very inconvienient!!!

As hholzgra@php.net wrote
"windows mail code *badly* needs a rewrite"

The code is not good... AFAIK is't not fixed.

Derick is right, but that's not a reason to close this bug.

Happens here too. I dared try sending 32k mails this way. It happens on 4.0.6, 4.1.0, 4.1.2 too. CGI Version. PHP crashes, web server says sorry. Tested on Windows 2000 with IIS 5.0 and Windows XP with Apache 1.3.24.

Can't reproduce this, can fine send mails with 640kb content. Please provide a reproduceable script.
