http://www.php.net/manual/language.variables.predefined.php

User notes mention $PATH_INFO should be used on Win32
platforms in CGI mode instead of $PHP_SELF (when not
compiled with-force-cgi-redirect).
This should be mentioned in the manual instead(PATH_INFO
isn't shown in the manual)
