In order to add something to another bug report, I tried to retrieve the browscap.ini - I found two URL on php.net, both of them won?t reveal a browscap.ini file thus we should include that file in the php distribution I think.

Also we should remove these links from php.net:

1) Site moved 100% commercial, wasn?t able to find a browscap.ini on their site anymore, ?cause they want to sell theyr product "browserhawk", woo...

The manual on get_browser() should be updated, the infos on php.net and php.ini should be updated.

Look more closely on the cyscape.com location. You have to scroll down
and fill out the form

wooo, I couldn?t imagine that they?ll force you to fill out a form to get the file - if that file is "free" we should include it in the distribution anyway

We cannot redistribute it.

You can also look at www.asptracker.com, the have file without the form.
