This same issue exists on every mirror I've tested, and for all versions 
and packages I've tried.  It'll warrant either further investigation or 
some wise words from someone else here, perhaps on something I've 
missed.

For an immediate resolution, the version for which you're looking can be 
downloaded directly from here:

Log: - Labeled 5.2.4 and 5.2.5 as museum, and added 5.2.6 to the museum select box
- Closes PHP Bug #49043

Releases are manually moved to museum.php.net at random times, and 
sometimes some information is forgotten (in include/releases.inc and 
releases/index.php). Currently 5.2.6 and below are in the museum so the 
code now reflects this. Thanks for the report.

BTW, use PHP 5.3.0 ... ;-)
