I too have problems installing the Palm-Manual ... (see Bug-ID 2402)

... see the part of my Hot-Sync log file:
            - Invalid Palm organizer file deleted: i:\programme\uties\palm\SchichM\Install\manual.prc

My equipment: Palm III, with OS 3.3 and Teal-Doc

I just downloaded and installed the php manual (manual.prc)
on a PalmV running OS3.3 and teal-Doc 2.75 without any problems whatsoever, and I'm reading it as I write this.

Also, bug 2402 was different, in that the user thought
the manual was an application that ran by itself. That
report was subsequently closed after pointing this out.

Please try uninstalling teal-doc, reinstalling it, then reinstall the manual, then update this report with the results.

Did it, no better result ... :-(
Tried it wit TealDoc 3.03 German and with English version ...

Well I'm stumped.
Using OS3.3, Teal 3.03, I am able to download and install the
prc, and use it, without a problem. I had a friend of mine do
the same, without a hitch. Went down to Teal 2.7x, no problem.

The only thing that happened of note was that it took a helluva
long time to open. I assume this is because its relatively huge.
I was able to get Teal 3.03 to hang (several times) by tapping
all sorts of things while the doc was loading, but this hanging
didn't happen at all in Teal 2.7x.

or do you create the file yourself ?
and if so: which platform do you use?
