Please do not submit the same bug more than once. An existing
bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely
to be the same. Because of this, we hope you add your comments
to the original bug instead.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

Interesting that the timestamps say otherwise. Beat the other guy by a whole minute.

Btw, the "do not submit the same..." text was posted not because nicos wrote it but rather it's autogenerated when one selects the "Submitted twice" <select> quick fix <option>. That option also marks bugs as bogus. This report is actually the type duplicate and there is no quickfix button for duplicates... This (#20348) did come in before the other (#20350) but we're all humans so we don't always process things in logical orders, like computers :-) Anyway, hopefully this clears up what happened. The autogenerated text can sometimes lead to honest miscommunication...

Sorry if I said you were the duplicate. It was 20349 but we prefered to fix the bug than to deal with duplicate.. You might understand that. I'm sorry you were not wrong at all. You just submited the bug 5 mn before 20349 and 20350.

Is it really important btw? Thanks for your report.

Heh ha, it's all good! All I wanted to do was figure out why my eval() snippet wasn't working.. aaaargh.. thanks for your time.

suggestion: nuke the leading sentence:
"Please do not submit the same bug more than once."

Because I wouldn't even have replied once if it weren't for that slightly provocative sentence :-)

Hoorah superfluos internet dribble.
